VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A head-on crash between a big rig and another vehicle on Sunday morning sent “multiple patients” to the hospital, including two as trauma alerts, according to the Volusia County Professional Firefighters Association.
Officials said the crash happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near mile marker 275, but did not say what time the incident occurred.
“Multiple patients on scene triaged and transported,” their post read in part. Two other patients were sent as trauma alerts.
No other information about the crash or the condition of those involved was released.
