PORT ORANGE, Fla. – A woman and her dog were reported missing on Wednesday after they were last seen over a week ago, according to the Port Orange Police Department.

In a news release, police said that the woman — Elizabeth Salinas, 68 — was last spotted on Sept. 24 after she left her home in the Fruitland Park area.

At the time, Salinas had her dog with her and was getting into a “white work-type van,” investigators explained.

Before her disappearance, Salinas was wearing a blue and orange-colored dress. She was described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, about 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

According to investigators, her daughter has been unable to contact Salinas since last week.
