From yodeling in a viral video to touring: Mason Ramsey coming to Central Florida thumbnail

SANFORD, Fla. – At 11 years old, Mason Ramsey became the youngest major label country artist signed in the genre in nearly two decades.

Now he’s 17, in his senior year of high school, and he’s also on tour debuting a new album.

It all started in 2018 at an Illinois Walmart. Ramsey was seen on camera singing “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams. Within a few days, that video gained more than 25 million views and he quickly became a viral sensation.

Since then, he signed onto a record label, appeared on talk shows and made appearances on the CCMA Awards, CMA Awards, CMT Music Awards and Grammy Awards.

Ramsey just released his debut album “I’ll See You In My Dreams” on Sept. 20.

He’ll be performing songs from his new album during his show at Tuffy’s Music Box in Sanford on Friday, Sept. 27, as part of his Falls Into Place Tour. Doors open at 8 p.m. with the show starting at 9 p.m.. Click here for ticket information.
