All-time MLB hits leader who was denied a place in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown leaves a controversial legacy.
MLB legend Pete Rose died from hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, the Clark County Coroner’s Office in Nevada said Tuesday.
Rose, MLB’s all-time hits leader and three-time World Series champion, died on Monday at the age of 83. The coroner’s office confirmed his death to Fox News.
TMZ Sports first reported on Rose’s death and cause of death.
Rose’s death was determined to be natural, officials told FOX 5 Vegas. He also was battling diabetes mellitus.
